Rodney Alcala is a serial killer and amateur photographer. John Berger is a British art critic and the alias that Alcala adopted while on the run. The Looking Game connects the archive of pictures taken by Alcala, made public by the Huntington Police Department in California, with Berger’s writing. It is the first installment of an ongoing project by Mirko Smerdel and M.F.G. Paltrinieri.
