No Man’s Land is made up of images of women in different desolate landscapes on the margins of European cities. Taken entirely from Google Street View, Henner obtained the coordinates for the women from online forums where men share information about sex workers. The book joins in the tradition of mining vast mapping databases of automated imagery for unexpected moments.
