Japanese photographer Yoshinori Mizutani’s first book, Taxi Dirty Book, presents two types of pictures: photographs of taxi drivers in their cars, taken from the passenger seat in the back, and images of books or magazines, some pornographic, discarded on the ground in Tokyo. The book comments on distinct ways of experiencing Tokyo, and on different ways to interpret “looking.”
