The images in The Blue Hour stem from Uri Gershuni’s second visit to the English village of Lacock, home to William Henry Fox Talbot, one of the earliest practitioners of photography. Instead of wandering around as he did during his first visit, Gershuni moved through the village virtually, through Google Maps, producing 255 black-and-white images of the town from the online map-image database.
