Daido Moriyama has been one of Japan’s leading figures in photography since he began depicting the breakdown of traditional values in postwar Japan. Moriyama’s characteristic grainy, black-and-white style, which expresses a fascination with the darkness of cities and modern society, has defined the genre and influenced many photographers worldwide. This photobook takes the form of a pamphlet insert that accompanied a DVD release.
