A Minor Wrong Doing

Between 2011 and 2014, Henrik Malmström photographed from his living-room window the street scenes unfolding outside. The frames of the St. Georg neighborhood in Hamburg serve as harbingers of the area’s transformation. The photographer used an inexpensive digital camera with the ISO levels tweaked to reproduce the visual effect of a surveillance camera.
