The photographs in this book were taken in the red-light district of Amsterdam in 2009. The title refers to the policy of not photographing sex workers in their environment. The images are printed on old photographic paper that is actively fading, and presented against a dark background. They suggest that the allure of what you might see is often more powerful than what you can see.
