In the series Limit Telephotography, he photographs top-secret governmental sites with high-end optical systems; in The Other Night Sky, he tracks classified spacecraft in Earth’s orbit via amateur satellite watchers’ data. An essay by Rebecca Solnit recounts the history of clandestine military activity in the U.S.
